Orlando Museum of Art Festival of Trees!
The Holiday Season rings in early at the Orlando Museum of Art with the Festival of Trees annual event, which will enter its 30th year in 2016.
This year, trees adorned with a holiday glow created a wonderland filled with sparkling trees for kids of all ages. Local artists, designers, and corporations alike participate by submitting theme decorated trees, gingerbread houses, and wreaths – with the proceeds from sales supporting the Orlando Museum of Art. A must see is the Gingerbread Village – a collection of well over 30 unique gingerbread houses – the attention to detail will astound you.
Guests can purchase unique gifts from a large selection of decorative accessories and gifts for both home and office. After shopping, stop by the Museum Café for Hot Chocolate and seasonal desserts – a perfect way to embrace the spirit of the upcoming holidays!
The nine-day Festival of Trees is packed with special events from beginning to end starting with the elegant opening party, Patron's Gala, an elite black tie affair on the opening Friday evening.
